Update! Every CD I sell this month $1 from each sale will be donated the Shook missionary family!!

Guess what!!!!! Every CD I sell this month (DECEMBER)$1 from each sale will be donated to the Shook missionary family!! I am very excited about this and pray I will be able to donate a big sum to our awesome missionaries that sacrifice everything to go across seas and bring Jesus to a lost and dying world! This amazing family recently had their home flooded and lost pretty much everything and with your help I want to help them be able to have a wonderful Christmas. The Shook's have two adorable children. This truly is a great family taking Jesus to people across the oceans!
So with the purchase of a CD you will receive a chance to help the Shook family (your name will be placed on a card letting the missionary family know you gave) and also get good music to listen to and I will even sign it for you!!!

If you purchase by Dec. 19th you will receive it before Christmas!

Thank You So Much!!

My CD is finally complete! Praise the Lord!!

Hi everybody, I know it has been years since I have written anything on here! (Literally YEARS!) Life has been crazy busy but God has been very good! I am still homeschooling and we bought a house. We have traveled to Washington DC and Puerto Rico. So like I said crazy busy!!!!

Okay now for the exciting part...................my dream for as long as I can remember was to be able to write songs (good enough for people to listen too!!lol) and make a vocal CD, well God moved and with the help of family and friends my dream is now a reality!! Praise the Lord!!
Last December I was talking with my dear friend Tracy Gunkel, about my dream and she told me to talk to her son about recording because he loved doing that kind of thing. When I asked Luke to record me he seemed very happy and excited for this project, then piece by piece everything started fitting together, I needed a piano player because my sister had moved away that past summer and God fulfilled that need in two special people, Hannah Gunkel and Ivy Warwick. We started practicing in January and by May it was all recorded!! God's hand was in very inch of this and it was totally complete the first of November (2011). Now I am sharing it with you, oh and the best part God allowed me to be able to write five of the songs on the CD!!!!:)
I pray this CD will bless everyone who listens and may my best friend and Savior get all the praise, without Him it would of never happened!! :)

Who took my kids??

That is the question I have been asking myself today! This past week I have been wondering who took my kids because every morning has worked like this.........I always try to be up and done with my devotions before my kiddos are up because God knows how much I need them, but when Ryan wakes up, he flips on the bedroom light to get dressed and in turn wakes up a very irritated sister. Then there is whining and sharp words back and forth until I walk in and break up the session with the promise of a swat if it doesn't stop and remind them their beds need made, room picked up and clothes on before coming out for breakfast. Then starts the arguing about who's is who's stuff and who will pick it up,(I never will know how a clean room before bed can get so messy again within just minutes of waking up!) and by breakfast two little bums are already sore!! You think this is crazy??!!!Well by the time School time rolls around I am exhausted and not ready to teach. Ryan is always excited for school time (just doesn't like printing A's), but Elli would much rather read a book or color all day(school? who needs that?!!) We start with prayer at 8:30am and by 4pm we are finally done, when we could of been done by 11am!! I am ready for bed right then, not even caring about what to fix for dinner. For all I care they can eat whatever they can find!!LOL!! I know that sounds bad, but sometimes I need a lot of forgiveness from God for my thoughts!!LOL!! Then I sit down put my feet up and wonder why in the world did I decide to home school!!Okay folks I know I am not the only one who has days like this....be honest now!!!
Okay this leads up today...........awe today, God knew I needed a calm day!! Ryan woke up and didn't turn the light on but got dressed in the hallway, Elli woke up happy and ready for school. Their room is still clean and the beds made with no complaining!!!WOW!!! With breakfast done and prayer over I braced myself for another long day, but we were finished by...........are you ready for this???? I am talking done with drills, tests, regular paper work, I mean everything was complete by.............10am!!!!!Yippee!! Wowee! Thank you Lord!! I have no clue who's kids I was teaching today but I enjoyed it very much! And God gave me an extra bonus added in, a friend brought over a pizza for my kids for lunch! Tonight my husband will actually get a normal meal because I have time to think about it and take the chicken out!!! No you know what I think we are going to have a yummy roast with potatoes and carrots!!Well friends I best go now and get the roast in the oven so it has time to slow cook all day!!YUM!!
So when ya think you are going to spend the rest of your life pulling out your hair, remember God doesn't want you bald and He will give you a day where you think God must of given me new kids in my old kids bodies!!!LOL!!
Just thought I would let you all see into this past week of mine!! Things are looking up! Praise the Lord!!
Have a great day friends!!
Aren't they so cute!! I just love them!!

Love Ya All,
Rose

A New School Year Begins!

Well friends we started another school year last Tuesday, Sept. 8Th! Elli has already finished three paces and got 100% on all of them! Ryan has also finished two paces and got 100%!! Ryan is in kindergarten this year and does not understand why he has to "WASTE" his time learning how to write his ABC's!! You would of thought I took away his birthday by the time he finished printing his A's!!LOL!!He did do a great job!! Elli is finishing up second grade work and heading into third grade, she loves science but could live without math!! It is great this year because she can help me by doing ABC flash cards with Ryan. It helps her feel important!!(Which she is!!)
Frankie is also homeschooling her kiddos which makes it nice because we have school together a couple days a week, Praise the Lord!!
We also joined a homeschooling group. So all the homeschoolers in our area get together once a month for activities and boy do my kids love that!! Yesterday we met at the park for school pictures and play time. Ryan and Elli met lots of new friends and I had a chance to meet some more moms and have grown up conversation, (I forget what that is like sometimes!!LOL!!) it was so nice!Next week we are headed to the fair, I am excited!! It will be so much fun! Here are some pictures from the day at the park...Headed to the park!! We are EXCITED for a day of fun!

It is now time for bed and I am ready for it!!
Well friends I hope you all have a great week and may it go better than you ever dreamed!
Keep smiling and know God loves you!!

Update...........Kinda!!!

Hi! Everyone I forgot about this site!! LOL!! Blond Moment!! We have been through so much this past year, good and not so good!
We are now on the home stretch of Chris getting his pilots license. He should have it by the end of next month. Yippee!!! It will be a dream come true for Chris.
Ryan just turned five and Elli is now seven, time just doesn't slow down does it!!!!
We are headed to Omaha tomorrow because I need to get my wedding vale and pillow out of Chris' parents basement (we still have storage there from four years ago!). The vale and pillow were my mom's when she got married, so we will be using them in the decorations for their 40Th wedding anniversary celebration. It will be a fast trip but my kiddos are excited.
Elli is almost done with her second grade year of school and Ryan is excited to be in Kindergarten next year.
Well I didnt really write much but enjoy the pictures! I will write again soon or maybe next year!!LOL!! Have a great day! God loves you and wants to hear from you today, have you said "I love you" to Jesus today?
